I probably hate those furry animal fantasy games/stories/comics/manga/whatever more than the next guy. No, I don't want to see a half fox/half voluptuous babe in a bikini. This is different, well, at least I hope it is.

Story
It is far into the future and the experiments of man has given intelligence and sentience to many animal races. Then for some inexplicable reason, mankind has left and the animals were left to develop. Maybe man left them on a terraformed planet to see what happens. I'll decide later.
Setting is in a more ancient/medieval time setting.
Races
The Octopians
Already quite intelligent, they were one of the first to be developed. first living deep on the ocean floor, some factions have come up to dwell in the more damp, swampy lands for conquest and glory.
Dolphi
The oldest of the races, these friends of man rule the sea, challenged only by the octopi, and wait for the return of man. Probably the least involved of all the races, it is rumoured they hold strange technology once only utilized by humans.
Avians
Several bird species were given sentience and formed a rigid caste system.
- Owls form the academics of the society, advancing them in technology and general knowledge.
- The hawks, falcons and eagles, form the military edge.
- The parrots and the ravens(and crows) fought over for ruling class, but the parrots won the war with the alliance of other bird classes.
- Song birds might form the bulk of the population, but mostly concern themselves with menial labor and normal lives.
- Ravens and Crows, though some of the most intelligent birds, did not get along with the other avians, which led them to lose the war with the Parrots. They were banished and formed their own sect far away.
Gameplay
Don't really know. rpg? rts? turn based strategy? 4xrtsfpspuzzleadventureplatformermmorpg? maybe.
