Hidden Object Game
Overview
"The Blue Cross" is the first of the Father Brown mysteries. The majority of the story follows Valentin, the head of the French police, as he tries to track down the infamous criminal Flambeau. Valentin has no definite clues about Flambeau, other than that he is known to be in England. Upon arriving there, Valentin follows, on a hunch, the only thing he has to go on: the trail of two priests who leave chaos in their wake -- a broken restaurant window, apples spilled in the street, salt in a restaurant's sugar bowl. What does it mean?
The "hidden object" genre of casual game could work well with this storyline -- the player progresses through the storyline by finding ("investigating") objects in a particular scene, as described below.
