Starting

  • Never done wikipedia though I have browsed there before so its a new experience. I like new experiences... Anyway, the only comment I'd like to say is perhaps it'd be nice to have a link to the projects page so you can get up and go/ plug and play. Oh yeah, and its kinda slow. -Mene-Mene/2Corin 517
    • Hey Mene, thanks for the feedback. :) I think Sam added a link to the Game Design page in the left nav bar -- is that enough? Or did you have something else in mind? (BTW, you can automatically sign your signature with --~~~~ like this: --HanClinto 18:07, 9 November 2007 (EST))
      • Yep that's great! --2Corin 517 16:49, 10 November 2007 (EST)
      • Testing the signature thing.. --Samw3 17:55, 10 November 2007 (EST)

Logo

What does the text on the logo in the top left corner mean?

It means we need a better logo :P --Samw3 19:30, 10 November 2007 (EST)

Here's a quick logo for the site that will do for now. --Samw3 09:54, 12 November 2007 (EST)

Inspiration to work on wiki

One thing I'd kinda like to see is some inspiration to work on the wiki here. Perhaps displaying a "User of the Month" which may, or may not include an Admin. Perhaps like you can't be User of the month twice in a row...

Thanks to the Mods

I have to say, that I'm grateful to the Mods here even though it can cause problems to still allow Anonymous user access. --2Corin 517 07:48, 10 December 2007 (EST)

Its probably pretty foolish, but it would be nice to have a clarification page of the rules for the site. No Porn, no links to Porn, no spam, ext.

CCN Down

  • Does this mean that there is a possibility of use seeing a new site when they're done? Yeah, I kinda figured something like that was happening. --2Corin 517 07:18, 15 December 2007 (EST)
    • Never mind Question answered. --2Corin 517 15:20, 2 January 2008 (EST)

Automatic Siggy

  • Is there a way to automatically add your siggy to the end of an article you edit/create? User:2Corin 517
    • I don't think we'd want to -- that info is available in the page's history, and if I'm just editing a simple comma or grammar mistake, I don't really want my signature added anyway. --HanClinto 16:02, 8 February 2008 (EST)
    • Oh right, I just remembered. Do you know about the ~~~~ trick? Put 4 ~'s in a row and it will automatically generate your username and the date/time, like this: HanClinto 16:03, 8 February 2008 (EST)
      • (errr... yeah. You already knew about this -- sorry for the double-information. It just confused me because you had a link to your user page with User:2Corin 517, and I wasn't sure why you didn't just do it with tildes. --HanClinto
        • I didn't use tildes because the date would have been off, I was just updating that to let people know who posted that. 2Corin 517 17:05, 8 February 2008 (EST)
          • Three tildes does just your username (~~~ goes to HanClinto), but four gives date and time information as well. --HanClinto 17:37, 8 February 2008 (EST)
            • Ok, my question was though, is there a way, for every edit it automatically adds ~~~~ to the end of the document? 2Corin 517 21:39, 8 February 2008 (EST)
              • Alright, thanks for the clarification. Basically, since that info is already available in the history tab on every page, I don't think it needs to be redundant in the wiki. Thanks for the suggestion! :) --HanClinto 15:07, 12 February 2008 (EST)
